amazing.

i have the most amazing aunts.
i love them. they are all so cute and fun.
there is one in particular that i've been seeing more of now that i'm up at college.
she is one of the most amazing women that i know.
i love her so much and i look up to her for so many things.
she is such a role model to me.
she is exactly what i think that mothers should be.
she has three little girls - and they are her world.
the four of them are best friends.
they play together, dance together, sing together.
it is so cute.
within minutes of being in their home, you can tell how much she loves them.
tonight i was at her house and something happened that i thought was so cute.
it wasn't really a huge event, or a big deal, but it was just so cute
the littlest girl (age 4?) had been sleeping over at my other cousins house
and when she walked in, my aunt dropped what she was doing and ran over and gave her a hug and told her in a very excited, happy voice how happy she was to see her and how much she had missed her.
it was just so cute.
the other thing that i love about her is how crafty she is.
so makes the most adorable things.
she makes these adorable huge flowers that go in her girls' hair.
and these amazing bags that are so cute.
and now she's making these frilly aprons that are so so so cute.
i love them.
anyway, i just really love her and think she is amazing.
while we're talking about my amazing family...

i have this cousin who is starting her sophomore year in high school this fall.
she is the smartest little girl i know.
she works so dang hard!
that was definitely a quality that i never really had.
school was kind of always easy for me, and i could get really good grades without doing much
(in high school...college is definitely a different story)
anyway, this girl works her tail off.
shes so so cute.
all the boys love her.
and this fall, as a 15 year old...she is taking AP Calculus.
are you kidding me?
AP calc?
i'm a sophomore in college..and i still haven't braved that class.
thats awesome.
speaking of awesome...

i have an awesome grandpa.
i'm sure i've written about him before.
but he is my number one favorite person on this entire planet.
he is my hero in every way and my best friend without question.
my aunt (the totally cute one) is starting a preschool this fall
(which, ps, is going to be amazing. i can't think of a better place to send little kids other than to her house. those kids are really going to have an amazing time)
she is in the process of re-doing her basement.
my cute grandparents have been over there almost everyday for weeks tiling and laying floors and putting together cupboards and hanging doors.
my cute cute cute 70 something year old grandpa is over there til late at night working so hard
i just love him.
so much.
anyway.
i have a pretty amazing family.
the end.

well not the end.
i'm just gona keep going here even though this is basically just rambling.
last wednesday, i was talking with my roommate about how boring this city is
(seriously, not an exaggeration. its terrible)
so, what do we decide to do?
hey - lets go to vegas!
ha. brilliant.
so me and two of my friends left work early, packed the car and took off.
my family has been out of town so my whole house was empty.
we had the weekend, an empty house, a car...it was fabulous.
it was an amazing weekend.
we all slept in too late, spent money we didn't have, and eat so much food that it was probably disgusting.
but it was so fun.
i love las vegas.
sure the strip is what it's known for, but when you get away from the strip, its really an amazing place. i love it.
i love being there.
i love the smell
i love the heat
i love the palm trees and the sand
i love the red rock mountains.
basically, i love it all.
and i had an awesome weekend with my friends!!
they're so fun
and i'm so glad that i stayed in provo this summer with them

okay. thats enough amazingness for one blog.
